Agenda
18:00: Doors Open, Welcome & Introduction
18:10: AI x Sovereign Cloud: Innovation and Compliance for Highly Regulated Industries
Presented by Markus Moeltner & Felix Jung, Spike Reply
This session explores how organizations in highly regulated industries can adopt AI while meeting strict compliance requirements such as the EU AI Act and GDPR. Participants will gain clarity on the difference between data residency and true digital sovereignty, understand the risks of hyperscaler AI services, and learn how containerized, self-hosted models enable “Sovereign AI” today. The session provides both strategic guidance and a practical technical approach to balancing innovation and control.
18:30: What are Agentic AI Threats? A Cloud Security Perspective
Presented by Felix Brehmer & Cedric Feist, Wiz
What are Agentic AI Threats? A cloud security perspective
Agentic AI threats arise when autonomous systems act with broad access and minimal oversight, amplifying risks in cloud environments. AI is both a potential source of these risks and a tool for security. In this session, we’ll show how Wiz approaches agentic AI—detecting risky behaviors, enforcing guardrails, and reducing the impact of misconfigurations to protect critical cloud infrastructure.
About the Cybersecurity Meetup Munich
We are a vibrant community of cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts who meet regularly to discuss current security topics. Our goal is to create an open platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration around the challenges of digital security.
Almost each month, we gather in a relaxed atmosphere—hosted by a member of the Security Network Munich (SNM) or a partner company. The format is simple: inspiring talks or discussions followed by open exchange over food and drinks. Expect practical takeaways instead of dry theory—real food for thought for your day-to-day security work.
Presentations may be held in German or English, and English speakers are always welcome.
Why Join?
In times of increasing cyber threats, collaboration and exchange among practitioners are more valuable than ever. Learn from real-world experiences, explore current trends, and expand your professional network within Munich’s cybersecurity scene.
